New royal gramma hiding!

I just added a royal gramma to my 20 gallon innovative nuvo. There are two clown fish one firefish and one chromis in my tank right now. I’ve turn the lights off and I found him hiding under one of my rocks. Is this common behavior for a royal gramma?

yes . they love to hide in caves /overhangs. the fish will be shy and might hide for the first few days.

I had mine for a few months before he regularly came out....I've had others that were aggressive....

Yep caves crevices in rock and will be shy for a few days. Perfectly normal.
