New Rustic Stand

Hate my current stand. makes me nervous on how much wiggle room it has! So building a new one out of rustic barn wood, old tongue and groove I had laying around and peeled pine logs. I have a total of $57 invested in the stand with another $23 for the handles and hardware. Built for a 72 gallon bowfront but will be upgrading it to a 90 gallon soon and both can fit in the stand!

Not sure where the wood came from. Had it stored in our barn for as long as I can remember. I think we had meant to put siding up on our tack room but never got around to it. Worked out well for me, nice and cheap!

Been thinking of doing the same thing. I built my own log home and this type of stand would go GREAT with my house. Maybe the wife will like my tank better if it matched the rest of the house...........:wink:

Thanks! I cant wait to move my tank up here and put it on to finally see how it all works together! It's still at my old house that I was renting, my friend has been taking care of it for almost 6 months, so I cant wait for it to finally be my own again!
