hi.
I am finishing the set up of my 55. This is how I did my Spectrapure cspdi 90. The last time we used this stall was six years ago. The plumbing is still good. I hung the unit by picture wire over the head pipe and added 3 hooks for stability, etc. the blue drums are 14 gallon food grade that I got off Amazon for 10 each. They are 14 gallons each. I saw where a fellow sailor used a pump and tubing to transfer the water to and fro the tank. I also saw where another sailor made a pvc pipe set up to easily drain and fill the tank to a preset level each time. Looks like a tinker toy set up but hoping for the best.

RODI filters don't actually need to be above the tanks they're filling. Your normal water pressure will force their output up at least a few feet. The filter looks well attached to the wall - but I'd still be a little worried about it falling off eventually - probably when you're sleeping.

You can use something like a Tunze Osmolator to pump water from here to your tank, if you wanted to use this as a top off water system.
