hi to all.
I just set up my Spectrapure cspdi 90. I live in NY and my water hardness according to the enclosed strips is 20. I know that this is not TDS. When I operate the RODI, my first value is 35, second is 0, third is 0. I use the TRM-1. Di you think that these values are reliable.

To start at 35 is awesome. Your filters, resin and membrane will last a long time. I would say let it run for a couppole hours and check numbers. You can also get a handheld TDs meter and double check those numbers.

If your incoming TDS is only 35, it's most certainly normal to see 0 after the membrane and 0 again after the DI. You're membrane has a rejection rate of 98+ % so what it is letting through isn't even detectable by a hobby grade meter. You're pretty lucky with only 35 TDS :)

You’re right, I am lucky. When I lived in the Midwest, we had “hard” water. When I lived in Phoenix it was very hard. Where we live in NY, we never have any evidence of water rings etc.
Shall I change to the less restrictive green tube or let it be.
With a psi of 60, is there any benefit to using a booster pump?

At 60 I'd say you're good to leave it right where it is:)
