New Salifert Mg Test kit?

Does anyone remember what their new kit was like what you opened it?
I just got mine and everything in the box was just loose jumbling around. The powder bottle was maybe 1/5th full as well.

Is this normal? It sorta felt like it was used and returned but everything seems clean.

Nope that's correct. The containers Just kind of chill in the box. And the powder bottle is 1/44ish full

Alright after doing a test I see why a whole bottle of the powder isn't necessary. Turns out my Mg is real low unless I read it wrong. Is the amount leftover in the Mg-3 bottle the amount I should be looking for on the paper or the amount I put into the mix?

When you fill up the syringe with the mag3 to 1.0 you empty it into your mixture until it changes to the color (it's pink or blue I can't remember atm) and whatever number the very bottom part of the plunger is on you match up to what it says on the readout sheet and that's your mag

Perfect thank you, I'm low but not as low as I had thought. Time to start dosing!
