New salt mix matching

Hi Randy I was just wondering what your thoughts are on new salt mix. I use DD h2ocean salt and when I mix new salt batch it comes out to have an alk level of about 8.7 to 9.0. I try run my 180 gallon system at natural sea levels of 7.0 to 7.2. I dose your 2 part diy. My question is if doing regular water changes it keeps changing my levels so should I raise tank levels to match new salt or should I make new salt and lower the alk level to match the tank. I appreciate your time. Thanks

There are several other options.

Do more frequent, smaller changes, lower the alk in the mix with muriatic acid, or adjust dosing on the day you do a water change.
