Greetings to all!
I recently bought a 190 litre Juwel Trigon tank stocked with the typical clown, tang, damsels, hermits, starfish, shrimp etc. The tank has been running on a Fluval canister filter but I'm in the midst of prepping to drill it for a beananimal system.

I live in Glasgow, Scotland, and have been keeping Tropical fresh-water for a few years now I have a 400 litre Aquareef - Oscar, silver dollars, featherfin squeaker, convicts. I also have a 160 litre community aquarium - tetras, angels, etc.)

The jump from FW to salt has been a steep learning curve so far but the folk on R2R have already been so helpful and knowledgeable and I'm hoping to be a regular here for many years to come.

Hey mate, Slainte Mhath! Welcome to R2R. A lot of the knowledge needed to be successful in the marine hobby, you probably already know. Moreover, saltwater is actually easier to maintain than fresh/tropical. African Cichlids being the easiest to maintain.
So I collect and love Single Malt Scotch. It goes well while watching my tanks.
Be prepared is all I can say...read about the fish you plan on potentially purchasing. Is it going to be comfortable with the fish I have now and will they be compatible with future purchases.
