Hey guys- I’m fairly new to the aquarium world but I am helping my 12 year old son with his scape. Needing to know if it’s too much rock for this size aquarium.
Tank is a 20 gallon Nuvo with xr15.
I have a video below for visual perspective. Your feed back would be great. Thank you! Egg crate won’t be used of course. Just a perspective on frag size and spacing purposes.
had issues with the video uploading. This is a YouTube link for the aquascape video below

Overall, I like it.. It's a 20 g so there won't be many fish. No real need for caves and hiding places beyond what you have.

My only concern would be adequate space for a cleaning device to get through. You can touch the back glass panel, as most of us rarely spend much time cleaning that. I assume that you, like most of us, will use a magnetic glass cleaner like a "Flipper Float" or similar.

Those are great for general quick cleaning. Be aware, that magnetic cleaners are NOT suitable for all issues. There WILL be times it will become necessary to get in the tank with a scraper to clear off the hard stuff that the magnetic cleaners can't catch. You will need to have at least a good hand-space and a bit more to get those places.

I think it looks very cool........don't see 100% branch scapes too often. Reminds me of my freshwater planted tank days with elaborate manzanita branch setups.

Thank you. Would probably have to chip off a couple branches for better spacing around glass. His coral selections so far that I am concern are galaxies and goni. Just want to allow corals to move freely and have room to grow

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
