Up since 10/1 and just added pair of really nice Blue Throats to join Poma Labs Conspic & Blue line angels as well as Biota Goldflake and of course… “Harley” (Tusk). I know the pics are too blue but do find in the early days, less cool white is best. I’ll lighten it over time…..

Very nice. Beautiful fish. I would like to add a trigger to my 900 FOWLR. I am thinking Blue Throat. Is he aggressive?

How are you liking your 3XL900? Mine has been up almost a year. I really like it.
Thank you! Blue throat one of the more docile triggers. Same with red tail.

I really like the 3xl 900. Nice glass, tank size and design. Stand also has been reinforced and is good quality. I do hope they solve for adding an in line UV in the future. Its impossible without re plumbing. Overflow is also a bit loud even after any adjustments. But overall…good. Good vs excellent rating is also influeneed by the cabinet assembly instructions. A bit confusing with pictures only and no video tutorial .

I hear you on the UV. I just have a 57 watt closed loop in the sump.
The overflow is a little tricky but can be fine tuned. Diaphragm valves are the best for fine tuning.

I do have a close loop system with 40w aqua uv on side of tank vertically installed vs in sump. I have tried the diaphragm valve and it just doesn’t do much. But overall I like it and give it a good vs excellent rating. So 4 vs 5 stars.
