Hey guys new here but not to the hobby. I’m having an issue with this algae and I’m not sure what it is. It is a new set up and cycled with brightwells quick start kit. I have been using mocrobacter clean for a few months now and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything to it. It’s not diatoms from what I am use to. It kind of looks like hair algae but is clear. I have a few tangs in the system and they have no appetite for it. The inverts I have are 1 sea hare, multi red legs, turbo snails and they pick at it a little but aren’t really attacking it. Any input would be great! Thanks in advance.

I have and nothing. It’s too short for me to pull it out so when I am siphoning water out for WC I try to scrub the hose over the rock to loosen it up but it stays.

It’s been up for 3 months now and I know that it is still very young and establishing.
