Hey guys new here but not to the hobby. I’m having an issue with this algae and I’m not sure what it is. It is a new set up and cycled with brightwells quick start kit. I have been using mocrobacter clean for a few months now and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything to it. It’s not diatoms from what I am use to. It kind of looks like hair algae but is clear. I have a few tangs in the system and they have no appetite for it. The inverts I have are 1 sea hare, multi red legs, turbo snails and they pick at it a little but aren’t really attacking it. Any input would be great! Thanks in advance.

I don't know what that is, but it creeps me out. Have you tried manual removal?

How new is new? This may go away as your tank continues to cycle through the plagues.
