Greetings all,
I am in the process of setting up a new 40 Breeder that I would like to add a clam to in the future. Since I am starting from a bare tank, I want to set the future home up correctly.
The first question is the substrate: Do clams sit on the sand bed or do they attach to the rock work? And if they are in the sand what grain size should I look at? If they attach to the rock should I look to build the aquascape in a special way to provide a "home" for the clam?
If you had the opportunity to set the aquascape up for a new tank that would be used for clams how would you do it?
Thanks in advance for the help
