Ok guys and gals...looking for some input into a new system...

Basically my 120g mixed reef is overfull and I would like to set up a new system...I am thinking of something kinda low tech for my zoas, rics, and softies...

No skimmer, t5 bulbs...

I know I want a 48" long tank but not sure about the height and width.

Any input you guys have would be great...

That would be pretty sweet...unfortunately it will have to go across the room...about 10-12 feet away...should still make for an awesome visual...

Can you line them up exactly parallel to each other accross the room? Without seeing the room, I can just keep guessing!! LOL

Actually, yeah I would line them up parallel...umh...that might look kinda cool...same stand and lighting, etc....might trip people out...

I only said side by side, because the thought crossed my mind last night believe it or not. And my current tank is a 120. So I'm tossing up side by side 120's

do you think a 4 bulb t5 fixture would be enough light for a zoa, ric, softies tank that is 24" deep? Might have to step up to a 6-8 bulb configuration which definitely affects the cost.
