so wanted to get some opinions on my new setup and parameters, I've been doing the reef thing for about 2 years now and had some success and many downfalls due to some maintenance issues and being incredibly cheap. so long story short i finally started investing a little bit more money and made some changes. im moving from a 65 gallon hex tank to a 100g acrylic. just finished polishing it all up about 3 weeks ago and went ahead and finally bought an ro/di unit to start loading it. i didn't have mixing barrels large enough for that volume so i just let the ro/DI run straight into the tank and then mixed a hypo saline barrel and flooded it which seemed to work just fine for the initial start up. no its been cycling for 3 weeks uninhabited cept for brand new live sand. (i've been swayed away from recycling my old sand by some members here) and got it all up and running. ive been doing water param test every weekend when i get home from the road and it has leveled out on the numbers with no show of any gains except for Ca. i went from 427ppm to 575ppm without dosing or adding anything in the last two weeks. just wondering if i founf the holy grail of free Ca supplement or *** happened. also is this gonna be a problem as i start bringing my rock over. and as said before i just bought my first ro/DI unit. have been using treated city water for the last two years with mixed effects depending on the season and water plant doing their thing.

my old tank ran pretty steady at
Ca 427ppm
Alk 198meq/L
Sal 36ppt
Tmp 81degress (i know its up there but the tank was near a pellet stove)
pH 8.1
Mag 1350ish ppm
PO4 .652. (this was where my major prob was. city water was saturated and i could remove it well enough for anything to grow other than colt's and xenia)
Nh3 0-.5ppm up and down weekely

no my new tank is setup and seems to be stable ish although i know im going to end up mini cycling running at

Ca 575ppm
Alk 198meq/L
Sal 36ppt
Tmp 78.9-79.9 steady
pH 8.2
Mag no idea tester broke
Po4 0.00 (HOOORAY) tested multiple times with 2 devices for conf)
nH3 .25ppm

my major questions here are:

Do these parameters look decent enough to get going in this new tank.
Should i Drip acclimate all my fish and corals i have left
Where did the spike in Ca come from?
Can i move all my rock at one time or should i spread it out and let it all settle in the tank
Why cant i get rid of my Ammonia? even with it being low i expect zeros
And i Bought i bunch on old LR from a LFR that closed down which has been sitting dry in tubs for about 3 months. how much can i bring into the tank at a time without adverse effects?

new tank partially setup lol

With you showing Ammonia, I'd not add anything to the tank yet.

What salt mix are you using? How did you get your Calcium at 575ppm? Also, how are you cycling the tank? All I see is water and sand, no rock or anything?
