Ok, as was gratefully pointed out by @D_Nyholm here.

It appears that the air tube should be attached to the top of the foamer/pump. Look at page 38 image 5. However, the tube is too long and the size of the plastic fanned hose connection is too small for the opening in the foamer so it won't stay. Look at the image on page 42.

I'm confused at why it didn't come ready to work out of the package. Moreover, why this won't even produce bubbles. Not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

It is very common for the air connection to come loose in shipping, can you post a photo of the particular issue? The hose is left long so it is easier to disassemble/reassemble. The video saltnewb posted should explain the connection.

The review was helpful. Thank you. I will post more tomorrow when I get back to the office where I have this tank set up.

Ok, so it works like a champ now. It was honestly a bit of a trick and a bit of luck on my part to get that hose to stay put over the foamer. But it works great now. Making lots of bubbles and looks like its gonna be perfect.
well built machine with a minor technical issue - probably user error ;)

Thanks everyone for the help.
