New skimmer gettin it done!!

Im impressed!! :bigsmile: I got this Reef Octopus SRO XP-2000I skimmer last Friday. Finances have been bad and it was a tough decision to shell out so much $$. Thank God its warming up! It didnt take long to break it in. Had a couple overflows the first couple of days so this pic really represents 4-5 days of skimming. This is easily double or triple the amount I was getting. I dont know how much improvement it made , but the water looks clearer to me.

Here is my SCA-302 after 6-7 days... It is well broken-in though, it's been running for about 2 months now.

Your skimmate will improve even more after a few weeks.

What a difference a well designed skimmer makes!
