new skimmer ideas

Need to check out a new skimmer. Icecap versus Bubble magus, Please give input ONLY if you have tried and true experience. Needed for 125 softie and fish Tank.

I've got a Bubble Magnus Curve 7 on my 90. After raising it to about 8", it seems to be doing fine. Quite, seems stable enough.

Ive had good luck with bubble Magnus but recently have been using iceCap units and absolutely love them for performance and silence

I've not been impressed with Magus. When it works it's quiet and productive but it's temperamental and has been overflowing for me randomly.

Mine did when it was brand new. Raising it until it was in about 8" of water fixed it. It does not like the epoxy putty I use to glue down corals though. I just turn it off overnight when I add them.

Mine is about 3-4 months old. Worked fine after break-in period but now for some reason when I restart after emptying, it just goes nuts and overflows
