New skimmer making gurgling sounds

Any idea on what could be causing my brand new Eshopps skimmer to make these gurgling sounds? Installed it on the 9th and has been super quite since today. I heard the sounds and start to run thinking a pump was running dry. Seems like the air is inconsistent and not enough force to push any skim up. I took off the pump inlet to make sure there is nothing blocking the air way. I had to turn the skimmer off since it is too loud.

hi,check inlet to pump,venturi port at bottom of line,next open pump see if obstruction in impeller,lastly contact eshopps get a new one

Found the reason why. My 6-line somehow made into the skimming section and was sucked up and lodged in the skimmer. It was a good fish. sigh...
