New skimmer, microbubbles out of control

Hi R2R

Recently set up a waterbox 100.3 and purchased the Dalua Great white 5 skimmer. Ive mostly run nanos without a skimmer so need some help identifying if i have an issue or just chalk it up to new skimmer break in? My main concern is the micro bubbles are so thick into the display that im worried ill stress my clown out if it runs like this for a few days. Im running it in 6 inches of water (6-8 inches recommended), when it was at 8 inches had the same challenge, ive played with gate valve and air intake without any improvement. Its only been running about an hour total as the micro bubbles are so overwhelming i turn off quickly. Should i just leave on and power through or is there a bigger issue? Tank has only one clown and water and live sand/dry live sand for a week now, Much appreciated.

Bubbles wont worry your fish in my opinion, my own Dalua settled very quickly, if it were me I would just run it.

It has to breakin keep it running in a day or 2 it will stop freaking out an you can tune it in

I am not familiar with that skimmer, but as with most skimmers it will more than likely need some break in time.

Open the air and water valves all the way. When it starts to break in an area of clear water will form at the bottom of the cone. That is when the bubbles will stop coming out and you can adjust it.

Really good, started skimming straight away, only problem I had was the microbubbles but not as bad as yours, they settled within a few hours though. The only thing I do not like is the 3d printed parts, but the rest is good.
