First let me introduce myself. My name is Daniel and I have a slight addiction to Saltwater Fish Tanks. I have been in the hobby for 2 years now and have been wanting to join for a while but haven't taken the time to attend a meeting. I know Darren and have probably met a few of you at local LFS's but didn't realize. I usually visit the LFS with my greyhound Gracie. Anyway onto more important matters. I have a 75 gallon tank with a 40b sump that is currently skimmerless. Unfortunately when I first started, I bought a trickle filter with a locally made protein skimmer that doesn't work to the standards that I would like that has now taken a giant dump on me and quit. I am now in the market for a new/used good quality protein skimmer (Reef Octopus, Vertex, Aquamaxx, Avast Marine, etc.) if anyone has one for sale and could give me some good recommendations based on previous experience.
