New skimmer troubles

hey guys, I have been away for a while and neglected my tank for a while (don't worry there are no fish in there yet) but I am trying to get everything back in order so I finally got a little protein skimmer. A macro aqua mini hang on skimmer m-50 to be specific. I got everything set up and the water intake knob is blowing bubbles into my tank like crazy. I'm not sure why or what to do about it. If anyone has any ideas I will be suuuper grateful!

Never mind I figured it out. The o ring was on wrong
