New skimmer?

I have a protein skimmer in my tank which is probably working just fine. I'm new to the hobby, and Just want my tank to run as efficiently as it can.
I have a 30 gallon nouveau cube tank. I'm tempted by the aqua gadget SkimMate ghost skimmer made by innovative marine for the way it looks and the convenience that it says don't inside the tank. But I've heard other people using a skimmer for the octopus? What are your thoughts –

I have the coral life 65 for my tank...I agree with reefer if it works well, why change it

Good point.
Where I live is SUPER limited for saltwater supplies- nobody I know even has a tank...
The closest fish store is an hour away, so what I started with is what they stocked, and now I am learning of other options and just want my tank to be as efficient and smooth running as possible.

As long as it's pulling gunk out and your water parameters are in check i don't see the need to change it but there's a lot of info and reviews online if you are curious
