I just purchased a birds nest and a orange monti cap. I was wondering if I needed to dip them in Bayer. I know bayer is suppose to rid acros of Flatworms but what about the birds nest and monti?

Its better safe than sorry dip everything even if it comes from the healthies system

Right now QT is not an option. How long should I let them set in clean tank water after the dip before they go into my display?

Let them sit for about 15 minutes and use a turkey baster to softly blow off any residual from the corals

Just an update, I completed the dip yesterday and the corals ate in the tank. Here are a few pics. There were some pods swimming and I think I saw a couple flatworms, not sure though. I cut the plug they were on, off and glued them to some rock rubble. Let's see how they do.

I'm just curious as to how long does it normally take to start seeing frags encrust onto rocks?

Depends on the type of sps and placement in the tank IME but if pulled off the plug and placed directly on the rock 3+ weeks in my tank. That's if critters don't keep popping it off as they graze.
