1. 5 XR30 Pro would be my guess. Start with 4 and add one when the frags grow into mini colonies.

2. You could start with 4 MP40s and add more if needed. Maybe add a couple of MP10s on the back wall.

thought i'll b able to get away with 3... as its not cheap haha...
You could to start but you’re gonna have a lot of shadowing as they fill in over time.. you could go with 3 of the 30’s and 2 or 3 xr15’s between them. The problem is the 30” wide you’ll have to turn the xr30’s so there long ways front to back to get decent coverage..

After owning both, I vote Mastertronic and dosetronic plus hydros which allows you to start small and add on as you go. Alkatronic is also a must in my opinion. Mastertronic only does one alk test per day and it’s not tied to the Dosetronic.

I know lighting is a hot topic and you've seemed to settle on ecotech, but dollar for dollar, I'd really look into reef fi. You could get 6 for the same price as 3 xr30s, they're HIGHLY recommended by everyone who's purchased them. US made and a 3 year warranty. The owner of the company designs micro processors for Intel, and just happens to be a reefer. There is a whole thread on the lighting forum about them, and how their design, cooling, and spectrum are miles ahead of the big name reef lights.
