New sump!!!

Just got a 36"x12"x18" sump refugium combo yesterday. I had to customize the pipes a little, but I got the whole setup. Im going to have to get refugium mud, but I gues it can wait a few days. Im also getting lr rubble to help with it, and a new light. My tank is a 45 gallon, so just wondering exactly how much mud ans rubble I need. The aqua c that came with it has to be on my display, but it produced skimmate in about 30 minutes so I was happy.

Looks cool. I loved the Remora when I had one. Switched to insump when I upgraded. Good luck.

Just be careful with the external overflows... they could potentially lose siphon and overflow your tank.

I no, one of them cracked wen I turned the pump of, it lost siphon. Good thing I noticed, and put some silicone on it. Ill update the pics.

watch out cuz they could potentially lose siphon and overflow your tank. i was going to have a hob over on my tank but have decided to drain the tank and drill it. i figure it will be worth it in the end

I know, and I know someone who can probably drill it, but I just re aqua scaped, and the tank is around 10 years old, the aquaclear I got with it had a receipt from '99, and the filter still works at full power, my point is that IDK that much about the glass ti have it drilled. I might as well save up some money and buy a 75 gallon, and drill that(if its not rr), I just need a local deal and some more lr.

thats the way i would go not to much point in putting more money into a tank if your planning on upgrading soon. its to bad your not in kc on our local forum theres more lr added just about daily and people breaking down there tanks will sell it dirt cheap :wink:
