New tank 120 gallon

Okay I was given a 120 tank drilled holes and I wanted to start a lps tank. I have a mixed mostly softy tank I set up 12 years ago now at my dad's place.

So I thought I want to do this the right way and the wife gave me the go ahead, and 4 grand budget before live stock I'm stoked for this. I'm building my own stand (I'll get pics at some point).

I got an apex and going to go with kessles for my lighting. sump I'm getting a used one from the local fish store for 200 I thought is fair.

Okay so I need to know what skimmer I should get?

My 3 year old daughter wants a pink fish doesn't care about anything else. I want to got powder blue and brown tangs (I know can be hard to get them to get along) and a pair of snowflack clowns. I'm sure there will be a few more fish but mostly looking for reef over fish.

So what skimmer you think I should go with.

Sorry no advice on Skimmer other than I quite like reef octopus, but deltec would be my number one choice.
Get your daughter an orchid dottyback, that's close enough in colour.

Nyos is a great choice, looks amazing too. I like my Bubble Magus Curve 7, which in my opinion is just a less costly Nyos. I have used Deltec before, but am liking the Bubble Magus Curve 7 better, not to mention less cost.

Welcome to R2R and back to the hobby! As far as fish go, you could look at anthias, some have a pink color to them.

I can certainly recommend the NYOS Quantum 160 which I use Red Sea S 650.

It’s runs completely silent, is very efficient and has a really solid build quality.

It’s also very easy to take to pieces for a thorough clean as and when required.
