Ok so I'm probably over thinking this but help me out here.

I had a 20 gallon tank running, and recently had both of my clowns die from what I'm pretty positive was brook.

Un related- I just got a sweet deal on a 60 gallon cube, that came with live rock and some corals and 2 new fish.

My plan is to use the 20 gallon tank as a quarantine. Here is the question/problem. All of the live rock with corals are in my 20. I want to move them over to the 60 so I can get the aquascaping done and add in sand and all that. Also, with them out of the 20, I can pre-treat for ich or other parasites. If the live rock and corals I have now are in the 20, they could carry brook over in to the new 60, right?
But if I don't set up the new 60, I won't have anywhere to put the new fish other than the 20, which probably has brook in it....

I don't have the lighting needed to run both tanks simultaneously with corals.

so help me out here....

Well, i would put the corals in the 20 and let them sit until the fallow period is done. You can keep the fish with the other rocks in the 60 and get a shop light for them. Then, I would move the corals over once the fallow period is done. Is it really worth losing fish again and having to go fallow again to have the 60 up a little earlier?
