I am thinking this is normal algae growth, but it has been a while since I have started a new tank and dealt with it. I think it is about time to start the ATS, and I need to get to work on it soon.
I can't see clearly but it looks like Bryopsis. [ hope not. If it's Bryopsis an ATS may not help much as Bryopsis can out compete almost any other algae.
