Hi everyone
Hope all are doing good

I'm starting a 120 gallon reef tank . Just filled the water .

I got some live rock .I thinks it's so live .
I would need some advise . I think the guy who sold this to me have just the rocks a bit out of the water and the rocks started to smell .

THE ROCKS ARE OUT OF THE WATER

Since I'm in the start stage

1 do I need to fully cure the rocks before adding them to the tank or

2 partly cure it

3 Shall I let it dry 1st than clean it

Please let me know how to clean in case I need to fully cure it .

4 use seachem stability to get the benifital bacteria sorted.

Please help me out .this is the part I get stuck at live rocks

If they are starting to stink, that probably means dying matter. I would recommend curing.

You can do that in your display tank, assuming there’s no livestock in there.

This website has some good info:

If there is no other livestock just aquascape your display tank and let it cure in there. Just don't be in a rush to add other stuff. If it's live rock you shouldn't need to add other bacteria to it. I wouldn't over think it or fuss with it too much. Also make sure your skimmer is working well...

Unless it reeeeally stinks, then having it in the living room (or where ever your DT is) might not be the best solution!)
