Starting a new tank. I have been experimenting with two bunches of rock with a narrow chanel in between. The rock is placed firmly only. I started with one mass rock. But read some corals might run amok and isolating them sometimes helps. So I decided on 2 formations. I allowed a swim through hole on each side. Im a newb so I'm asking yalls opinion on some experienced reef keepers.

Looks okay. Remember with fish you stock, they will appreciate little hiding places when they sleep. Nooks and crannies, caves.

I'm no expert, but something that helped me with my new tank that I didn't utilize in my first was this piece of advice: Don't be afraid to break the big rocks into smaller rocks. Get a bunch of reef putty and take your time and sculpt it!
