This thread will document my move from the Red Sea 350 to the Cade 1500s. I am planning on reusing most of what I have except will be replacing the main pump with an abyzz. The controller will be the hydros that is currently running in my 350.

Nice I really like the Cade aquariums. I don’t care for these pkg deals though I’d rather design and build my own stand and sump to fit exactly what I want to do. I like my stands a little taller. Be nice If they would sell just the aquarium. I just started a a new build thread on here as well. Will be doing something very similar, transferring a lot of stuff from my 60 cube.

congrats! have a Cade 1800 - will send picks...

sure you will love it and would be happy to see what you do with your sump

Looks awesome!!!! Can’t wait to get mine up and running!
just had a knee surgery last week so I am waiting to move everything and need to get a few good men to help me move the tank.
Sorry for the knee, I got a bad one myself. Ended up lying some glass suction cups from Amazon and contracting a piano mover who had three big guys. Best investment in the whole tank purchase.

How much did the moving company set you back? I know different areas will have different pricing, but that sounds like a brilliant idea. I might have to steal it :p
Also what was the wooden box you had built for?

Seems it was 150 and a 12 pack

Got the tank installed today. Trying to decide if I want to completely remove the baffle with the filter socks or just remove the filter socks and holders to make that into the fuge and leave the filter roller where it is.

Rockscape in. Haven’t glued it yet, gonna let it sit for a day or so and make sure I like it before I glue.

Chose to remove just the filter socks and sock holders to make room for a proper fuge. Also added some extra rock into the media boxes that way if I need small shelves here and there I have them already cycled. If I don’t need them well at least I got them doing work with filtration.
