Hello all!!! Glad to be here, 15year reefer, and expanding the current tank to a larger one. Previous tanks included 75 gallons, 90 gallons, 150hx, and currently a reefer 350. Below is the current items ordered for this tank build. I'd love to hear from some other owners of the Red Sea reefer series and any recommendations you might have based on your personal experience. Also hope to contribute to the group and share some successes and failures over this new build. The current RED SEA REEFER 350 tank has been running for 3 years and will be taken down and for sale if anyone is interested. Here's what's been ordered so far:

*Red Sea Reefer 525xl in black
*2x Ecotech Vortech MP40's
*4x Ecotech Radion XR15 Gen 5 Blue
*4x RMS arms to mount backside of the tank
*1x. Ecotech Vectra M2 return pump
*1x Nyos 160 protein Skimmer
*1x Nyos Reactor 2.0
*150lbs Live rock
* 2-3inch Sand Bed Live sand Carib Sea

nice setup. Are you transferring your livestock from this tank over or starting fresh?
Thank you, and Yes, plan to transfer it over. I work closely with AQUAMOON here in Chicago and they will be doing the tank setup and transfer for me. About 4-5 guys on 2.7.2022 will be doing this. I'll post pictures as well that day as it progresses.

Just changed my tank to the 625xxl over the 525xl! Going with the 133 gallon display and 165 gallon Total system.

any one have any recommendations for a equipment board for the Reefers?

Just waiting on the tank. Installs moved to this Friday

have you used them?
Yeap. I use three. Two in my cabinet and one in the garage for the mixing station.

Main board (please excuse the mess as I am working on rerouting and changing some equipment in this chamber):

i like the use of the boards! Looks like I should maybe get everything installed and then see how to manage the space with these boards....

Make sure you order the French cleats to make nothing easier!

In my build I also used 3M heavy duty command strips to mount the cleats. They work quite well.
