Hey I live in California and looking to get a reef tank done..any recommendations?
8ft L 30W 28H rimless
It seems some places won't even mess with rimless or won't come close to this size. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to R2R, what general are do you live in? That would help finding a good tank builder

hey there. I actually just placed an order with Crystal Dynamic Aquariums.
they are out of Oceanside CA, i know for sure they will go as large as an 800G tank, really good build quality.
definitely worth looking into cdaquarium.com

last time I sent in an inquiry I heard back within about 24 hours.

Awesome! Just sent them the dimensions will see how much hopefully soon

Yeah it seems it would have to be euro braced if higher then 20" according to reef savvy and according to crystal dynamic out of ocean side wouldn't do bigger then 60 long rimless so they gave me a quote for euro bracing with my original dimensions and surprisingly CD was more expensive then reef savvy...so now it's just which place to go with.
Decisions decisions....

As you already have discovered the length becomes an issue with height to allow rimless. I am wanting a similar tank but don't want to be as shallow as 18 or 20 in height. Reef savvy sure has a good reputation. With any luck I'll see one at Macna in a few weeks.
