First off, Welcome to R2R!

You have a pretty good list of things. I actually use a lot of the things on your list and they work very well. The only thing I am unfamiliar with is the "reef clearer rock"?

Reef cleaners rock is a man made dry rock that I have read really good reviews on. I'm still debating on live rock but I had a bit of a pest issue on my last tank nothing that couldnt be handled but it was still a pain.

Thanks for the welcome

Welcome to R2R!

The equipment looks great so far

Welcome to R2R!!!

The only things I would personally change is I would save some money and get dry sand instead of live, and I like regular IO salt over the reef crystals. I don't have any experience with the hydra lights, but I am a big fan of Kessils, especially the new A360x. I have used Reefcleaners rock on all of my builds and love it!

So looking online I found this deal. I would slowly upgrade as I go but didn't know what everyone thought would be. It a 50 gal cube tank wigh 20 galsump so it a hair bigger than the plan. Comes with 2 mp10 that are 2 yr old but show no problems. maxspect razor 420 led lights w/ upgraded lens which I know nothing about and aquatics controller w/ temp probe. It also comes with a cheap skimmer and a few other things. I feel like the price is there for the equipment but my question is if anyone has experience with those lights and the lifetime of the mp10s.

I have a 50 g cube i love!! The mp 10s will be great and can always replace the wetside for 60 dollars. Retail for over 200 new...sounds like a good start. And welcome to r2r!!
