Hello everyone,
I wanted to post a few pictures of 5 new corals I picked up from an online vendor. Just arrived yesterday and they have been in the tank overnight. So far I believe so good, I just wanted to see if there is anything in the pictures or with my parameters for my tank that I should correct now before I run into any problems.

It is a 32 biocube, stock media basket with a zippered bag on filter floss. No carbon, stock pump. I have 2 powerheads on opposite sides of the tank. My lighting schedule was copied off of someone on these forums, about 12 hours lighting including ramp up and down times.

I purchased 5 corals. Candy cane, zoa, mushroom, duncan, and a pom pom xenia. Zoa and xenia will be on their own individual rocks. The rest are still sitting at the bottom in the sand just hanging out.

I use tropic marin salt, right after mixing this salt tends to have a low dkh, 6.5. I have the dosing set from BRS with soda ash, calcium, and magnesium. I added a few ccs to bring it up to 6.85. I was just playing with the mix.

My other measurements are ph 8.2, ca 450, po4 0, mg 1350, ammonia 0, nitrates and nitrite are both 0. dKh 6.85

The duncans are the only ones that have not "done" much yet. The candy cane I am not sure what I would see. The xenia I think are just small, they seem to wave around.

If anyone has any questions or comments let me know. My ultimate plan is for 2 clowns and a blenny. I already have a CUC with snails and 2 emerald/mithrax crabs. They seem happy.
A few weeks ago the tank went through what looked like diatom bloom, only recently in the past 2 weeks did it appear to come back! It looks harmless to me.

I have 2 powerheads on the sides of the tank, pointed at each other, but not directly toward them. Do they act this way if there is too much or too little flow directed at them?

Yes or if there is too much or little light depending on what they like

Direct flow downwards a little and for Duncan - Ph range of 8.1-8.3 and more important, salinity of 1.024-1.026 and moderate light and water flow and feed at least 1X per week
Nice looking order

I plan to slowly increase the dkh to 8, a little each day.

Here is a picture of my tank and the 2 powerheads. I unplugged the one on the left temporarily to see if that will change anything. I still have the return coming in on the left and the powerhead on the right going. I will also orient it downward slightly to see how that changes things.

My salinity is right at 1.024, I will let that slowly come up with evaporation.

I moved the duncan up on the rocks on the left just to find a happier place.

As an update, here are some additional pictures.
Duncan still has not opened up. I did not include the leather as that one seems to be doing well.
Not sure if they just need more time or if there is something else I should do.
My lighting schedule for the biocube 32 is
LC1 9am -9pm
LC2 830am-9pm
LC3 7am - 11pm

My calcium is remaining stable as above, my dKh however crept down to 6.5, I added some liquid soda ash and will slowly ramp up to target 8.
temp is at 76.8F
