Hi Everyone,

Tank is about 1m old and had some diatoms on the rock but not much and now this green algae. The sand still has a bit of brown algae. The glass is also started to get covered in green!

my concern is really this purple thing growing, I cannot imagine it being coralline and hoping someone can let me know if it’s cyano??

Thoughts?

It is difficult to say - with that small of an area. Cyano is usually easily 'removed'. By just creating a flow with your hand or perhaps a baster near it. To me it is not typical of cyano - which usually grows as a flat mat. That amount of algae in such a new tank would be of no concern (i.e. nothing to do about it)

There's a type of coralline that is kinda like this, I'm not saying it's that, but maybe. It's basically coralline that misses the last step to be coralline and appears as some sort of purple slime stuffs. I wouldn't worry 1 month in, you are gonna see all sorts of weird stuff the first couple months with dry rock.
