New tank start. Had tons of help with my first tank so still learning. Will these be the correct amount needed to start the cycle on my 90 gallon with 30 gallon sump 120 gallon total. I know I need to turn off my skimmer and remove socks I don't know if there is anything else needed to be done. Main thought is if this is enough to cycle. All help is appreciated

Good to go and very good products. Be sure to test with reliable test kits- not api brand

Salifert and Hannah for me. Don't trust api. I'm a little concerned with the fritz zyme because the bottle only states 40 gallons but an lfs and brs phone rep said that would be fine. But both seemed disinterested in giving info/help

Treat at 75% of recommended if unsure

It’s a massive bottle to be rated for 40gallon, lol. I think you should be good, it’s only bacteria and will multiply rapidly.
Thank you looks like I'll be staying that today. Since I'm back at work the next few days.

Don’t overdose the ammonia I'm glad you said that. I need to redo the math since I didn't account for the sump. So if my math is correct that's, 40 drops but that doesn't seem correct

Unfortunately I’m of no help, I’ve always started tanks a different way. Someone here will know though, happy reefin :)

Really, any amount of bacterial is good enough.. I used one bottle of Fritzyme in my 90 with a 30 gallon sump. All went well. The ammonia is the important part. Don't overdose it. Redo the math, come up with a number you want to add, then add half of it, Wait at least an hour and test for ammonia. You should be looking for 2-3 ppm. Add a little more ammonia and repeat until you get there.

If my math is correct it's 36 if I add my sump but should I add the volume for the sump?

Yes, but, remember that your display tank and sump don't hold as much water due to displacement. You need to reduce the estimated volume some.
See I'm trying to figure that out and this has been a heck of a hunt. Even reached out to brs and the person I spoke with told me to read the bottle and go from what it said

I don't know what the bottle says but you could probably get a good target number if you took the drops per gallon recommended X 75% of your total sump capacity. Add half of that number, wait for an hour, & test ammonia. Repeat the process until you get to 2-3 ppm of ammonia on a test kit.
