Okay, sumpless, AIO. Rock ruble, GFO/GAC if needed. Macro algae such as chaetomorpha with a small grow lamp......etc.

Did I mention this is my first saltwater attempt, easy on the abbreviations, lol

Lol, sure. No problem.

GFO - granular ferrous oxide. Used to lower Phosphate.

GAC- granular activated carbon. Used to remove dissolved organic compounds.

Chaetomorpha or "Chaeto" is a macro algae grown to absorb excess nutrients such as Nitrates and Phosphates and other organic compounds.

Are you planning a reef or just fish?

I added ammonia and Dr.Tims one and only on May 1st now I'm impatiently waiting. I'm still undecided, I am kind of scared of a reef.

Flow and lighting are the only differences in fish only and reef tank

What lights? Flow should be in the area of 30 to 60x tank volume gph with all pumps and powerheads included

Should be fine for softies and lps.
