New tank equipment suggestions?

I just ordered a waterbox 110.4. This tank has a 79 gallon display and about a 26 gallon sump I believe.. I plan on ordering a reef octo 150 int for a skimmer. And tunze 3155 for ATO. First, any experience with those is greatly appreciated. Secondly, what size lighting am I going to need for this tank? Dual returns means two return pumps? What size? And what size wave maker for this tank? (Planning on fish and soft coral)

Actually I just looked and it’s the other tank I was looking at that didn’t already have a t in it. This one splits off already. Thanks for the response. Any advise on the lighting or wave maker?
 
Reefbreeders photon. One light. Slimline. Comes with hanging kit and tank mount tank included. Full tank coverage, minimal to no shadowing. Enough par to grow anything you want

I took this pic just now to show the fixture appearance on factory mounting legs over the same size tank as yours. My tank thread is filled with pics showing coral detail and colors and growth progress

Other lights are cheaper. Others are more expensive. This is a top of the line light, at a middle of the line price. What appeals to me over others is the leds have a matrix layout vs puck, meaning they are evenly spaced completely left to right and front to back, so you don’t get hot spots or shadow spots, and one fixture can light the whole tank instead of needing to have multiple fixtures and cords and having to deal with syncing them. I also like they made the whole unit an inch thick. It’s sleek and modern and doesnt look like a bunch of hanging shoeboxes over your tank. The entire casing is aluminum heat sync, there are fans but they only come on in emergency. Mine never had to come on. The light is silent. I never have to run this over 45% and it will last many many years being underdriven

Having about the same size tanks. What about wave making. I bought a cheap vape maker to use in my saltwater making. For the tank is there a particular type that’s better. I’m assuming this size I’ll need two for the tank
 
Lots of options. Cheap to crazy expensive

I’m actually doing a second tank build now. 48x20x20

Trying something new for me for flow…I’m going to use a vivid creative aquatics random flow generator on the return plumbing and overdrive it.

It’s an inexpensive attachment and when water comes through it, the output direction is constantly being randomized. If it doesn’t prove to be enough I will add a vortech mp40 because I don’t like having cords inside my tank.

They are pricy. But my current tank is 12 years old. I bought a mp40 and mp10 USED 10 years ago, and they are still running today and working great.

One mp40 would be enough of you ran it high. Then one side of your tank would be high current and the opposite side would be medium. You would have different areas to accommodate different corals needs. You can also make a full wave effect that has the corals swaying back and forth gently and hypnotically

These are expensive new but almost always for sale used at discount

What are you using for a return on that? I’m looking for something quieter as this will be in the living room
 
It’s overwhelming to sit here and put together a list of all the things I need to get before Ievem put the tank together once it’s here

I have discussion with VCA about this tank and flow and they are experts in flow. They said with a decent return pump and their 1” or 3/4” rfg fitting I can handle flow in their tank without powerheads for a mixed reef. We would need 650-750gph exiting the rfg, so factoring for head height this pump should be capable of 1000 gph. I should be able to use this pump around 65-75% to achieve the target I need
