Yes. Just...yes.
Turn it into a planted macro with seahorses and pipefish and dragonets. Add in some very tiny schooling fish like Apogon/Ostorhynchus parvulus.
Make a "daytime" reef. By that, I mean dial back the actinics all the way back so that you can look at it and think that you could realistically see that if snorkelling. None of the whole "I keep things at 100% actinic 100% of the time" stuff....
Predator tank. Keep a pair of dwarf lions or something in the tank. Have fun at feeding time feeding them frozen fish on a stick!
Attempt a saltwater amano-style aquascaped tank, aka GSP EVERYTHING.
Devoted single-species (of coral) tank: Keep as many varieties as you want, but you have to stick to one coral (Micromussas are a favorite, so are clove polyps, as are mushroom anemones).
Maxed out Minis: Keep a lot of a few species of nano inhabitants. Things like a sexy shrimp colony, and a Trimma canna colony. Maximum size of any non-coral species is about 1".
32 gallon into anemone tank question:
Probably will work. But you'll only be able to keep the pair of maroons and their anemone(s).
