New tank low PH level issues

Ok so I changed my seneye slide a over week ago. It's all calibrated.
Between 7.31 to 7.48. Has been dropping after I did add some buffer managed to get it to 8.1. But didnt want to continue with this as it does effect my alk.
Swings in between these numbers obviously drops through the night.

Started a refugium but the last few days the cheato has started to fall apart. (Have some new stuff on the way). My auto top off was dumping RO water into that chamber. Forgot to move the line. I believe that didnt help the cheato, as I'm having to top off between 7-10 litres a day.
It has picked up somewhat and is starting to bind back together a bit.

So I have had the windows open all day both front and back and had a through draft continuously. Pointed the return flow a little higher to agitate the surface to help with gas exchange.
Even banned ppl from the room....that was a popular move :rolleyes:
Its had no impact with the PH.

The api ph test was wrong. Got it checked. The seneye is correct.

Started to dose with tropic marin All-for-reef. Its keeping my alk stable at 8.

So if it's not CO2 that's affecting the PH. What else could it be?
I just think it's just too low.
