Hey Everyone,

My husband has a 125 gallon saltwater tank and I love his, but I wanted my own tank. I got a 50 Gallon Starfire Tank With Center Overflow 24x24x20" 10mm (which comes in tomorrow) and I am trying to decide what I want in the tank. I want to go with more peaceful fish. If anyone has any Ideas that would be great. Thanks.

Welcome to R2R, sweet tank :)

I would go with a flasher wrasse I think they would look really cool. Or a group of anthias, if the tank is big enough and can keep up with their feedings. And maybe a trio of cardinal fish and of course a pair of clowns. If I had a 55 I would maybe put a Marine Betta in it, but it might be to small for one.

Great size and although not limited, I'd consider fish such as clowns, gobies, blennies, wrasses and dwarf angels. When considering fish, determine what coral you will place in tank (if any) and assure your picks are compatible/safe around these corals.

+1. If I would have started with wrasses, I probably wouldn't have much else in my tank. I love my wrasses. Lots of movement, colors and mine are very peaceful. I love my goby and would like to get a starry blenny in the future. Of course it's not a tank without my clowns.
