Thanks for asking been keeping a close eye everyday just havent been online much.
Ammonia 0
Nitrates 15-20
nitrites 0

Still have the case of brown algae just on the rocks and sand. Not to sure if this will go away soon or if i need a larger cleanup crew to help? Bought my T5 lights one week ago thats when things turned brown then just last night my 10k bulb burnt out 1 week old only.

It's probably diatoms that you're seeing, they should go away after time.

During cycle, are you to do any water changes or only top off?

I have just been toping off the tank and water tests have stayed the same nothing is changing. I picked up to emerald grabs and they have been going to town on the brown diatoms

Well update on the tank everything is going smooth but now i am starting to get a few spots of red algae or red slime its not thick yet. Is there a way to control this as its growing on the sand and 2 rocks in the tank?

In my experience, good flow to the problematic area gets rid of the stuff.

...A beefy clean up crew also helps get rid of the red algae as well.
