New Tank Opinions

New 75gal reef tank with 40lbs of dry rock and 40lbs of cured live rock. Since the live rock is cured, will it be enough to put the tank through a cycle? The LFS told me to throw a few snails and crabs in, wondering if its good advice? Also, how long should I run the display lights and the refuge lights per day at this point?

I ended up using a piece of seafood from the supermarket. It worked, and I didn't have to sacrifice anything living.

I used dr Tim's and it cycled my tank in a day
