How long have you been cycling it so far?
Have you done any water changes?
If so, how many and how big?
And how big is the tank?
Your ammonia needs to get down to zero. And your right, the alk is a bit low but not a huge deal. Depending on what salt you use for water changes, the alk will probably go up.
