New Tank parameters

Hey y'all, never thought I would be on R2R, but finally the day has some upon thee!!

quite excited to be here I have a Biocube 32gal I have setup with no fish, currently cycling (assuming).

I tested the parameters again tonight I use a mix of API & Red Sea pro. My question is how accurate is Red Sea pro?

I got a calcium reading on my Red Sea testing around 470-480ppm and on my API test kit its 340ppm.. either Im low or high. Any direction for me here folks?
Also, I got a KH reading on my red sea of 11.2DKH but API is off the charts. Magnesium is 1800ppm with red sea. Phosphate and nitrates both at 0ppm. Tank is currently week 2. No fish, has established live rock from a old tank, that was cleaned and live sand bed.

Well I wouldnt trust the API test kits at all as they are notorious for giving false readings, I am personally not a fan of Red Sea kits either, but I would trust Red Sea over API any day.

I would compare these numbers to the salt that use as each salt should list its given parameters depending on salinity. These parameters would give you a sense of what your parameters should be.
