New tank ph drop.

My tank is cycling but ph is dropping. But low its at 7.89. Why?

Nothing to be concerned with either way. However rise in nutrients or a drop in alk could cause it.

If it’s cycling you won’t really have photosynthetic organisms in it so it’s expected to drop. Once you do add some it’ll raise when the lights are on.
