New Tank - pH Too Low

I think doing what everyone says like opening windows and putting fresh air from outside into the skimmer is a good idea. In my tank I have a similar issue. I use kalkwasser and have a refugium on at night to fix it. I'm just happy with anything above 7.7 cuz I've read that it can make coral skeleton start to dissolve.

It actually got cool enough to turn off the AC this morning and throughout the day my pH climbed to almost 8.1

I just added a big air stone to the sump this evening as well.

Good !
Better fix that pH issue right now than later ! (But don't chase a number, 8.1 is fine)

Just find a way to make sure there is some air exchange from outside and your pH will never be a problem !
