Hey guys I just got my 130gal tank up and running now for about a week. I just wanted to know when should it be ok to start to add fish to the tank? All my levels are good but didnt know if their good because I just got it started and theyll probably cha ge for in the next few days? Or I need to add fish to have different readings? Alsk how often should I be testing my water, for ex everyday or every other day just wanted to know how you guys keep and maintain your tanks that have fish in them. Thanks

Have you added a ammonia source yet? Need that to get your "cycle" going. The Dr tims Web site is a pretty good read on the process. But basically you add ammonia that will slowly turn into nitrite which will slowly turn into nitrate which will slowly go away. Water changes will help keep the nitrate down after your tank has gone through the process. It's probably going to take atleast a month to get where you want to be

Try bio-spectra it's made by Red Sea I believe I added that in to my 90gal tank and within 3 weeks cycle was done 0ammonia 0 nitrite and 0.2 nitrate
