Hello all just wanted to introduce myself and put up a new topic for discussion.
Started my tank on the 17th January 2022.
Have made my water myself and been watching the parameters with an eager eye waiting for a clear test result to start stocking fish.
Haven't purchased lights as yet, was going to wait a few months but for now it gets enough natural daylight.
Anyway without digressing too much, i started dosing Bio S on about day 12 and have been for just under 2 weeks now.
Tonights parameters are
Nitrite 0
Nitrate PINK somewher between .25 and .50
Ammonia CLOUDY WHITE less than .015
PH OLIVE 8.15
These parameters have been like this pretty much for a week or so now except for a slight Nitrate hike.
Where do you guys think the cycle is at and is it too early for a fish yet?
