new tank set up

I've got the tank set up with skimmer in the sump salt added and all pumps running my tank is approx 300 litres but its a cube taller rather longer the problem I'm stuck with is how much live rock I purchase as some say 20 kilos and others say 30 kilos and when should I be thinking of adding rock

*wave* Welcome! You should add your rock now. We add at least 1 pound of rock to 1 gallon of water. 300 leters is around 80 gallons. So 80lbs of rock would be 36 kelos.

Cheers for that it just seemeddp a lot of rock for that size tank but ive Just ordered the rock so should be here Thursday

Yeah, It sounds more than it looks. You want the rock in there so the bacteria can grow on it and cycle with the tank. It's the backbone of your biological filtration.
